Outside corner 90° for verge sheet flat roof / wooden wedge plank

The leg length of the corner is 20cm.

The standard angle (c=70°) is suitable for the commercially available wooden wedge plank, 5cm high and 14cm wide. Upon request, the angle can also be manufactured according to your specifications (-> custom-made, no returns possible).

Suitable for use on flat roofs and for roof sealing with bitumen membrane or plastic membranes.

The metal profile is installed on the finished roof waterproofing. First, the wooden wedge-shaped board is attached to the roof sheathing. Then, the roof waterproofing membrane is extended up to the top edge of the wooden wedge-shaped board. Finally, the roof edge profile is installed. It can be fastened from the front or the roof surface using roofing screws (see also installation tips). The horizontal leg A is laid OVER the roof covering or rests on it. The metal sheets are installed with an 8-10 cm overlap at the joints.

Material description:

Material surfaces:
The surfaces of mill-finished materials such as titanium zinc, natural aluminum, copper, and stainless steel may exhibit scratches due to the manufacturing process. These do not affect the quality, grade, or lifespan of the material. Generally, these scratches are no longer visible from a distance of 2-3 meters or partially disappear due to oxide layer formation. For applications with higher visual requirements or very short viewing distances (e.g., balcony railings), we recommend using surface-treated materials such as color-coated aluminum. This is supplied with a protective film, which must be removed before installation.

Dimensional tolerances:
Due to tolerances in the raw material or manufacturing processes, the sheet metal profiles may exhibit slight dimensional deviations. These are defined as follows:
- Length tolerance of 1.0 or 2.0m +/- 5mm
- Leg length deviations +/- 2mm
- Deviations of the bending angles +/- 3°

Material-specific information:
All the items listed below are so-called non-ferrous metals, meaning these materials do not rust.

Color-coated aluminum:
Important note: The color coating is only applied to one side; the back of the sheets is colorless! The sheets are delivered with a protective film (sometimes transparent). This must be removed before installation!

Surface:
- industrially applied polyester lacquer coating
- No staining, visually appealing, consistent surface
- permanently weather-resistant, no peeling
- slight color fading due to UV radiation
