EPDM-Dachfolie ist bekannt für ihre Langlebigkeit, Flexibilität und Umweltfreundlichkeit. Widerstandsfähig gegen Witterung, UV-Strahlen und Ozon. Zudem einfach zu Verlegen.

Die Installation von EPDM-Dachfolie kann sowohl von Profis als auch von Laien

Welche Stärke sollte eine EPDM-Folie sein?

Generell gilt: Eine dickere Folie bietet einen höheren Schutz und Beständigkeit gegen Umweltbelastungen, UV-Strahlen und Ozon.

Eine dünnere Folie ist dagegen flexibler und passt sich unebenen Flächen besser an.

Welche Vorraussetzungen sollte mein Dach erfüllen?

Flachdächer eignen sich am besten, jedoch ist es auch mit anderen Dächern möglich. Ein leichtes Gefälle ist vorteilhaft, damit die Entwässerung ordnungsgemäß abläuft oder Sie bauen einen Flachdacheinlauf ein.

Ebenfalls sollte der Untergrund frostfrei, trocken und frei von Staub und Schmutz sein.

Gängige Untergrundmateriealien sind Holz, Beton und Metall.

Welche umweltfreundlichen Eigenschaften zeichnet eine EPDM-Folie aus?

Unsere EPDM-Folien sind frei von Weichmachern, Chlor und gefährlichen Schwermetallen. Zudem zeichnet sich unsere EPDM-Folien durch eine lange Lebensdauer von ca. 50+ Jahren aus.

Am Ende der Lebensdauer ist das Produkt recycelbar.

Sind Blasenbildung und Falten ein Mangel?

Blasenbildung und Faltenbildung nach dem Verlegen ist kein technischer Mangel!

Nach dem Verkleben von EPDM-Folien kann es durch Restfeuchte im Untergrund oder Lösungsmittel im Kleber zur Bildung von kleine Blasen kommen. - Dies beeinträchtigt weder Haltbarkeit noch die Dichtigkeit der Folie.

Blasen und Falten legen sich in vielen Fällen mit der Zeit von selbst.

Hinweis: Beachten Sie bei Lösungsmittelhaltigen Klebern die Ablüftzeit.
