Zettex X100 Foam Adhesive is the professional solution for seamless insulation board adhesion in any construction project. As a highly efficient PU adhesive foam, it enables precise bonding of insulation boards such as PIR, PUR, EPS, or XPS, while simultaneously filling the smallest cavities, which reduces energy costs and optimizes the indoor climate. A crucial advantage is the modern, DCM-free formula: By eliminating dichloromethane, the adhesive offers a health-friendly working environment with consistently maximum adhesive strength. Thanks to its extremely high initial tack, it is ideal for vertical mounting on walls and parapets and permanently protects the structure from moisture and mold.

Application is straightforward: dust- and grease-free substrates from concrete, wood, and hard PVC to sanded bitumen roofing membranes or stainless steel are prepared, with a brief adhesion test recommended beforehand. After vigorously shaking the 900 ml can, it is connected to the foam gun and the valves are fully opened. The X100 is enormously economical: a single can covers approx. 12 m². Processing must be quick, as the open time is a maximum of 6 minutes. The surface is walkable after just 20 minutes, and after a total of 60 minutes, the adhesive is fully cured, allowing you to proceed with the next step without long waiting times.

After application, the valves should be closed and the system cleaned with Zettex Foam Cleaner to keep the gun ready for the next use. Wann nutze ich Flächenkleber und wann Anschlusskleber?

Wenn Sie keine ausreichende Auflast (Gründach, Kies o.ä.) auf der Folie haben, wird die Lagesicherung gegen Sogwirkungen mittels Flächenkleber notwendig.

Anschlusskleber wird hingegen verwendet um den Randbereich, Kanten und Nahtstellen zu verkleben. (Kontaktkleber)

Wann benutze ich das Nass- oder Kontaktklebeverfahren?

Nassklebeverfahren: Wird verwendet, wenn eine hohe Anfangshaftung nicht erforderlich ist und der Kleber Zeit zum Trocknen hat, z. B. Holz und Beton

Kontaktklebeverfahren: Wird verwendet, wenn eine sofort starke Haftung erforderlich ist. (z. B. beim Verkleben der Attika)

Wie funktionieren das Nass- oder Kontaktklebeverfahren?

Nassklebeverfahren: Kleber wird einseitig auf den gereinigten Untergrund aufgetragen. Die EPDM-Folie wird auf den nassen Kleber gelegt und von der Mitte aus nach außen gefegt, um Falten und Blasen zu vermeiden.

Kontaktklebeverfahren: Kleber wird auf beide zu verklebenden Flächen aufgetragen und muss vollständig ablüften, bevor die Oberflächen mit möglichst großem Druck zusammengefügt werden.

Welche Vorteile bietet wasserbasierter Kleber?

Wasserbasierte Flächenkleber bieten bei der Verklebung von EPDM-Dachbahnen (Ethylen-Propylen-Dien-Kautschuk) eine Reihe von praktischen, ökologischen und sicherheitstechnischen Vorteilen gegenüber lösungsmittelhaltigen Klebstoffen. Hier sind die wichtigsten Punkte im Überblick:

Sind Blasenbildung und Falten ein Mangel?

Blasenbildung und Faltenbildung nach dem Verlegen ist kein technischer Mangel!

Nach dem Verkleben von EPDM-Folien kann es durch Restfeuchte im Untergrund oder Lösungsmittel im Kleber zur Bildung von kleine Blasen kommen. - Dies beeinträchtigt weder Haltbarkeit noch die Dichtigkeit der Folie.

Blasen und Falten legen sich in vielen Fällen mit der Zeit von selbst.
