Ready-to-use, 1-component, solvent-based polyurethane adhesive

Product information:

  • Adhesive is applied only to the substrate (e.g., bitumen) - wet adhesive method
  • Ideally suited for bonding EPDM roofing membranes to almost all substrates (e.g. bitumen, concrete, wood, steel, etc.)
  • Not suitable for EPS/XPS insulation boards
  • The resulting compound exhibits high temperature and aging resistance.
  • Low consumption
  • Simple processing

Range / Consumption (2 kg / 5 kg) – Wet adhesive application:

  • Bitumen: up to 8 m² / 20 m²
  • Concrete: up to 10 m² / 25 m²
  • Wood: up to 12 m² / 30 m²

Wet bonding process:

  • When did we use this procedure?
    • Bonding of the main surface of the roof
    • The edges (approx. 40-50 cm) should be glued using contact adhesive.
    • Our contact adhesive product recommendation for you:
      • Zettex Easycontact S30 or
      • Zettex Spray Can X30 750ml
  • What are the advantages of this method?
    • No waiting time for the adhesive to evaporate.
    • Less adhesive is used due to applying the adhesive to one side only.
  • Procedure:
    • Adhesive is applied to one side of the substrate (e.g. bitumen) using a short-pile roller.
    • The surface should be dry, dust-free and grease-free.
    • According to the manufacturer, 60% of the surface should be glued.
    • Immediately after applying the adhesive, the EPDM membrane must be unrolled (within 5 to 10 minutes, depending on temperature and humidity).
    • If air bubbles form, they should be smoothed out as quickly as possible.
    • It is important that the EPDM is pressed firmly onto the surface to ensure good adhesion.
    • The adhesive reaches its final strength after 48 hours, depending on temperature and humidity.

Wann nutze ich Flächenkleber und wann Anschlusskleber?

Wann benutze ich das Nass- oder Kontaktklebeverfahren?

Wie funktionieren das Nass- oder Kontaktklebeverfahren?

Nassklebeverfahren: Kleber wird einseitig auf den gereinigten Untergrund aufgetragen. Die EPDM-Folie wird auf den nassen Kleber gelegt und von der Mitte aus nach außen gefegt, um Falten und Blasen zu vermeiden.

Kontaktklebeverfahren: Kleber wird auf beide zu verklebenden Flächen aufgetragen und muss vollständig ablüften, bevor die Oberflächen mit möglichst großem Druck zusammengefügt werden.

Die Lieferung erfolgt entweder mit einem Paketdienstleister oder per Spedition (Frei Bordsteinkante).

Sie erhalten nach dem Versand der Ware von der Spedition eine E-Mail an die beim Kauf hinterlegte E-Mail-Adresse zwecks Terminauswahl für die Zustellung.

Am vereinbarten Liefertermin erfolgt die Lieferung, in einem Zeitfenster von 8 bis 16 Uhr frei Bordsteinkante. Eine persönliche Annahme der Lieferung ist erforderlich.
