EGOBON 217 is a sealing tape based on butyl rubber. This double-sided self-adhesive, thermoplastic sealing tape adheres to almost all typical building substrates (wood, metal, aluminum, concrete, stone, plastic, and glass). The substrate must be clean, dust-free, grease-free, and dry.

EGOBON 217 is characterized by its high quality and functionality, especially in industrial areas and in the field of "sustainable building". Therefore, it is the optimal solution for fixing EPDM membranes or membrane strips to buildings, especially in difficult areas such as facade penetrations (windows & doors), roof edges, expansion joints, and cracks in existing roof sealings.

EGOBON 217 is a permanently tacky butyl sealing tape that is easy to install. Due to its UV, weather, and aging resistance, it has an almost unlimited lifespan and permanent functionality.
