With this repair kit for EPDM membranes you get a quick and convenient solution to repair minor damages in your EPDM roof membrane.

To do this, clean the area to be repaired with a kitchen sponge and some warm soapy water. Dry with a clean cloth. Now apply the MS50 EPDM adhesive to the patch in a snail-shaped pattern. Apply a rectangle to the edge approximately 2 cm from the edge. After applying the patch, press it firmly in place with the included roller, working from the inside out. Cleanly remove any excess adhesive.

After applying the patch, it should not be walked on for at least 24 hours.

Wann nutze ich Flächenkleber und wann Anschlusskleber?

Wenn Sie keine ausreichende Auflast (Gründach, Kies o.ä.) auf der Folie haben, wird die Lagesicherung gegen Sogwirkungen mittels Flächenkleber notwendig.

Anschlusskleber wird hingegen verwendet um den Randbereich, Kanten und Nahtstellen zu verkleben. (Kontaktkleber)

Wann benutze ich das Nass- oder Kontaktklebeverfahren?

Nassklebeverfahren: Wird verwendet, wenn eine hohe Anfangshaftung nicht erforderlich ist und der Kleber Zeit zum Trocknen hat, z. B. Holz und Beton

Kontaktklebeverfahren: Wird verwendet, wenn eine sofort starke Haftung erforderlich ist. (z. B. beim Verkleben der Attika)

Wie funktionieren das Nass- oder Kontaktklebeverfahren?

Nassklebeverfahren: Kleber wird einseitig auf den gereinigten Untergrund aufgetragen. Die EPDM-Folie wird auf den nassen Kleber gelegt und von der Mitte aus nach außen gefegt, um Falten und Blasen zu vermeiden.

Kontaktklebeverfahren: Kleber wird auf beide zu verklebenden Flächen aufgetragen und muss vollständig ablüften, bevor die Oberflächen mit möglichst großem Druck zusammengefügt werden.

Welche Vorteile bietet wasserbasierter Kleber?

Unser wasserbasierte Kleber ist leicht anwendbar. Es sind keine umweltschädlichen Stoffe enthalten.

Er ist frei von Lösungsmitteln, weshalb keine Brandgefahr besteht.
